A day with your favorite sweater POEMA, how does it go?
E.L. POEMA often accompanies me during my days at the style office. I love its lightness, the comfort it provides while keeping a polished look. I wear it from morning to evening, sometimes with tone-on-tone cashmere trousers, sometimes with jeans for a more urban look.

E.L. That it loves calm and softness, but never gives up a touch of boldness. It is a sweater that speaks of natural femininity, without artifice.

How to style the POEMA brushed cashmere and wool sweater

Behind the incomparable softness of POEMA lies meticulous artisanal work. A true signature of the Autumn-Winter 25 collection, the MAX&MOI brushed knit embodies a unique know-how and a constant pursuit of absolute comfort. Made from some of the softest wools in the world, and notably from a long high-quality cashmere yarn from Hircus goats, our pieces are knitted by expert artisans on traditional machines, then brushed by hand after knitting to create this airy and cloud-like effect so characteristic.

Care for your brushed cashmere and wool sweater
Brushed knit is a precious fabric, selected with the greatest care for its infinite softness and fluffy touch. To preserve all the beauty and lightness of your POEMA sweater, a few simple gestures are enough: wash it by hand or in the machine, on the “hand wash” or “delicate” program, in cold water (maximum 20°C), inside out and in a laundry bag. Use a special wool detergent, without softener or chlorine, and opt for a very gentle spin (maximum 500 rpm).

After washing, lay it flat to dry on a towel, away from the sun and any heat source. A light ironing on the reverse side, with a low iron and under a damp cloth, will be enough to restore its original drape.

However, because it is an artisanal brushed knit, which — unlike smooth knits — can be slightly weakened by brushing and made more sensitive to felting or flattening, we recommend entrusting the care of your brushed cashmere and wool sweater to a trusted dry cleaner if you have the slightest doubt. Properly cared for, your POEMA sweater will remain as soft and airy as on the first day.
