a new life for beautiful materials
At the Maison MAX&MOI, creativity is also nourished by materials that already have a story. Throughout the collections, precious leftover cones of wool and cashmere remain in the workshops, in shades developed exclusively for the Maison. Rather than remaining unused, these yarns are given a second life in new creations.
The long cashmere cardigan PENELOPE and the BULLY trousers embody this approach: two pre-order pieces where the softness of knitwear meets the character of leather. Belts, panels and contrasting trims shape a contemporary silhouette. Available in white and latte beige, these signature knitwear pieces revisit the essentials of the MAX&MOI wardrobe.
Cashmere & mink :
creativity down to the smallest details
Reinventing what already exists also means recognising the potential of a material, even in the smallest quantities. Fur offcuts then become a source of inspiration, inviting new combinations of textures, colours and volumes.
With its ICE inscription in mink on a striped knit, the PROUST cashmere sweater plays with graphic contrast. PARY, meanwhile, is more minimalist, allowing its generous two-tone mink cuffs to define the silhouette. Two interpretations of the same idea: making a material detail the starting point for a distinctive creation.

Giving Materials a New Life
When the production of a MAX&MOI new collection is completed, a few metres of yarn sometimes remain on the cones, in colours exclusive to the Maison. Too precious to be forgotten, they are gathered by shade to create new limited editions, without requiring the production of new yarn.
This same approach extends to dormant leather stocks and fur offcuts, reused and enhanced through each creation.
Why choose MAX&MOI pre-orders?
At MAX&MOI, pre-ordering makes it possible to produce as accurately as possible, giving existing materials a new life. The available wool and cashmere yarns, leathers and furs, in limited quantities, determine the number of pieces that can be made. Only the pieces ordered are manufactured, with a small additional stock planned to facilitate exchanges of size or colour.

Which MAX&MOI styles are available for pre-order?
The October 2026 pre-order includes four limited-edition creations: the PENELOPE cardigan in cashmere and leather, the BULLY trousers in wool and cashmere with leather trim, the PROUST striped sweater adorned with the “ICE” inscription in mink, and the PARY cashmere sweater with fur cuffs.
Why are MAX&MOI pieces offered for pre-order?
Pre-ordering gives a second life to leftover cones of wool and cashmere yarn, as well as to leather and fur already available in our workshops. Production quantities are adjusted to orders and existing materials to limit waste of our exceptional materials.
Are MAX&MOI pre-order pieces offered at a reduced price?
Yes, pre-order pieces are offered at a special price of -30% compared with their usual retail price.
When will pre-order pieces be delivered?
Production begins when pre-orders close. The first shipments will begin from 16 November. Each order benefits from personalised tracking until it is shipped.
Can a piece purchased through pre-order be exchanged or returned?
Yes, exchanges and returns are possible under MAX&MOI terms and conditions. As with any other purchase on our website, you have 30 days from receipt of your order to change your mind and return a pre-order item. Only personalised pre-order pieces are final sale.
A small additional stock is planned to facilitate size or colour exchanges, subject to availability.
