Meet Amandine in Milan
MAX&MOI opens its Journals to inspiring women whose worlds and style echo those of the Maison.
To inaugurate its Journals, the Maison takes us to Milan to meet @elinamandine, model and creator of Slow Hotels Living.
After more than ten years in the world of fashion and luxury, Amandine has chosen to extend her experience behind the lens. With Slow Hotels Living, she creates visual stories for distinctive hotels, at the crossroads of photography, travel and the art of living. Between fashion, photography and architectural gems, Amandine cultivates a unique eye for places and beautiful things.
It is at Calimala Milano, where she is working on a new shoot, that we meet her. Between two photoshoots, she opens the doors to her world, shares her inspirations and favourite addresses, and reveals her MAX&MOI wardrobe.
A story of places, details and emotions
With Slow Hotels Living, Amandine collaborates with carefully selected hotels, distinctive places whose identity she reveals through her lens.
Preserved architecture, natural materials, a vintage find, a particular light… Her eye lingers on these details that give each address its personality.
A sensibility that echoes the world of MAX&MOI. A leather collar that enhances a cashmere sweater, a leather band that highlights a cut, a denim collar that modernizes a Furever faux fur jacket, delicate lace trimming a silk camisole… So many unexpected combinations that give character to the most timeless pieces.
All the art of combining the savoir-faire of materials, the boldness of details and the precision of cuts.
Milan, throughout the day
In Milan, the capital of fashion and design, elegance is also cultivated through everyday pleasures. An espresso at the counter, a detour through the boutiques, a panzerotto enjoyed on the go or an aperitivo in one of those neighbourhood bars where Milanese locals love to meet. Places with timeless charm.
Between shoots, Amandine reconnects with this very particular energy. A few steps beneath the arcades of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a gourmet break, the pleasure of strolling without a plan… So many moments captured in the moment, where her style reveals itself naturally.
An elegance that is as much lived as it is worn, shaped by desires and the moments of the day.
Style, a matter of personality
After years of wearing very different silhouettes for her work, Amandine has learned to recognise the clothes in which she truly feels like herself. Her wardrobe is built around pieces she loves returning to and freely combining, with particular attention to beautiful materials, cuts and the details that make all the difference.
The MAX&MOI BELLE jeans with jacquard monogram for exploring Milan, a burgundy silk set to extend an evening, leather trousers paired with raccoon knitwear to enjoy a coffee on a terrace while watching Milan breathe and come alive all around her… Silhouettes that combine ease and character, in rhythm with her days in Milan.
The art of finding your rhythm again
After an intense day of photoshoots, Amandine loves returning to the calm of her hotel room. Putting on a soft cashmere piece, reading a few pages, taking a moment for herself before diving into her emails.
A ritual that echoes the art of cozy luxury according to MAX&MOI, where the enveloping comfort of knitwear meets the delicacy of silk and lace.
Her favourite outfit? A silk camisole trimmed with lace, worn on its own or slipped under a raccoon knit sweater, a natural fibre with an almost unreal softness, dense yet airy. The contrast of textures, the hint of transparency, the softness of the materials against the skin. A minimalist, chic and subtly sensual look, adopted for oneself and one you never want to take off.
The MAX&MOI piece you never leave without?
