How to care your shearling
Just like women's cashmere coats, chic faux fur jackets, and luxury leather pieces, genuine shearling is a timeless classic that will accompany you over the years. Our MADON jacket in lambskin ages beautifully and develops a lovely patina over time. To help it age well, we recommend professional dry cleaning once or twice a year, depending on how often you wear it.
To care for it on a daily basis, it is advisable to apply a water repellent every six months or after being caught in the rain, but always on your dry garment. You can also regularly maintain your shearling jacket by cleaning it with a crepe brush, just like you would with nubuck or suede, especially after rain.
