This second chapter plunges us into the wild immensity of the Camargue beaches - just a few hundred meters from the hotel - where the sea touches the sand and the light embraces every detail. A few steps are all it takes to leave the hotel - a wild, luminous setting in the middle of a nature reserve - and reach these untouched expanses: wind-swept golden sandbanks, pale, silky dunes like a white canvas, silvery rice fields from which horses sometimes emerge in the wild.
