Raccoon fur trimming is a precious material, naturally warm and lightweight, respectful of animal welfare and the environment.Obtained by brushing the long hairs — and not by direct harvesting — it gives garments a texture that is both fluffy and breathable.
Because it can only be produced in limited quantities, we have chosen to offer our LASER and STEFY sweaters and dresses in wool and raccoon fur trimming as pre-orders, in order to produce only the appropriate amount and avoid any surplus or unsold stock.
The shades of wool and raccoon fur trimming
Camel is the natural shade of raw raccoon fur wool, warm and authentic, reflecting an unaltered fiber. To achieve lighter shades than the original wool, the material undergoes a delicate bleaching process, designed to preserve the softness of the fibers while revealing a gentle and luminous color. Conversely, deeper tones – such as black – require more dyeing. This process slightly tightens the fiber, resulting in a texture a little less fluffy than that of the natural shades.

Each piece – the women’s winter LASER sweater or the STEFY long winter dress – ordered at the special pre-order price of -30% will then be made to order, for delivery from December 11, just in time for the winter season and the holidays.
#2 – Production begins
At the close of the pre-order, production begins with a small additional quantity to facilitate exchanges for color or size. Each piece is crafted with the care and expertise of the Maison MAX&MOI.
#3 – Receipt and shipping
Once production is underway, the wool and raccoon fur-trim sweaters and dresses are ready within 2 to 3 weeks. They are received at our logistics center, carefully prepared, and then shipped within the usual delivery timeframes.
#4 – Returns and exchanges
If the size, fit, or color does not suit you, returns are handled easily, just like any other order placed on our e-shop.

The long hair of raccoon fur, particularly soft, may tend to pill if not cared for properly. After each wear, gently brush your sweater or dress with a soft brush for natural textiles to prevent the fibers from tangling and felting.

• Wash your piece by hand or in the machine on a wool or delicate program, in cold water (max. 20°C), with gentle spinning (max. 500 rpm);
• Use a neutral wool detergent, without fabric softener or chlorine;
