Legacy

Legacy of beauty

MAX&MOI perpetuates the family adventure that began in 1925 with Maison Lederer and its founder Max Lederer, an experienced furrier who works for the biggest Parisian houses.

Since its creation in 2007 by Elie Lederer – the 4th generation – MAX&MOI has been driving its sense of style: a chic and relaxed look, punctuated with unexpected details. MAX&MOI was able to combine the experience of its founders and the dynamism of a young House that fits perfectly into its time.

The French family business is reinventing its precious heritage by playing with codes and trends.
A single desire: to offer a vision of femininity resolutely turned towards modernity with collections with elegant and contemporary looks that combine noble materials such as silk, cashmere or leather.

MAX&MOI a story of filiation and passion…

Universe of the house

Focused on innovation

MAX&MOI is a binary operation that combines the well-assured approach of a secular company and the agility of a startup.

A strength that the House draws from people as well as from innovation. The House is extremely focused on new technologies and relies on numerous innovations, applications and software to optimize its operation, responsiveness and efficiency.

This enthusiasm for digital and technology is emblematic of the spirit of our brand, which makes it a company firmly rooted in modernity. The House is constantly redefining its digital strategy by carrying out the regular overhaul of its merchant platform, always with a view to quality and premium service.

The implementation of innovative functionalities contributes to the growing success of MAX&MOI on the web.

The MAX&MOI woman

Max for her

For a woman aware of the world in which she evolves, well anchored in her time, who catches what is best in the air.

Her wardrobe reflects her personality, resolutely contemporary, imaginative, singular, sensual, elegant… and chic.

A woman who frees herself from trends according to her own vocabulary to better appropriate them and interpret them according to her own codes.

Mixing sharp and creative pieces as well as timeless and essential models, she asserts her choice in complete freedom.

Elegant and trendy, in chic, modern and comfortable clothes, the MAX1MOI collections accompany women at all times of their lives.

The spirit of the house

The love of noble materials

The artistic director Emma Lederer, prints her aesthetic while being in line with the history of the House, regularly reviewing the archives: the casual-chic pieces with an urban tone are easy to adopt, endowed with a spirit playfully.

His changing wardrobe gives pride of place to outwear, very versatile outerwear pieces with a perfect fit, thus continuing the family adventure started by Max in 1925.

The silhouettes curl up in “cocooning” coats and ponchos with a protective aura, cut from noble materials such as cashmere and leather. Often reversible, these very enveloping pieces are duplicated, sometimes untripled, play on superimpositions for a very modular wear.
The looks, like a mise en abyme, distill the Parisian spirit: a sure, chic and relaxed taste at the same time, neither too much nor not enough. The energy of the city infuses the silhouettes to better stimulate movement and seduce a cosmopolitan clientele.

From season to season, knits that are always sophisticated, enhanced with lurex or sequins, dress up sportswear outfits like tailoring sets. It plays on trompe-l'oeil when they are transformed into a denim look or adorned with embroidered patches.

It always promotes comfort and ease.

Blurry and tailored ensembles collide: flowing dresses contrast with caban-style jackets or fluffy blousons. The "fur effect" - very fluffy texture games - is the leitmotif: parkas, perfectos, teddys and other overcoats envelop the look with a gesture. Silk camisoles adorned with lace are pricked with hyper-femininity while cashmere hoodies and cardigans play the spontaneity card.

The color ranges are inspired by a make-up palette: beige, camel and ivory tones are flashed with more intense pop tones, like an abstract painting. Pieces with a timeless design, with just the right twist, are created with the very idea of lasting. Under the impetus of Emma Lederer, the "made in France" occupies a growing place in the collections.

At MAX&MOI, each piece is a jewel of know-how: buttons, prints and other embroideries are developed exclusively, with constant attention to detail.

The MAX&MOI House signs a resolutely solar and modern look that meets the desires of elegance and comfort of the urban woman underlined with a hint of feminine-masculine which affirms its identity.
The unconditional love of the most noble materials such as cashmere, silk and leather is combined with the sensual and structured lines of the emblematic pieces.

Emma Lederer… The future is now

Since 2018, Emma Lederer has been developing and magnifying the DNA of the House while being part of a lineage rich in know-how. She creates strong, modern, comfortable and soft collections at the same time, without compromising her ethics and the values that are dear to her.

She feeds on a precious heritage by infusing it with a modernity and femininity that resembles her.

Season after season, the collections reflect the image of its creator: elegant, daring and modern.

The universe of the House is characterized by the work of the noble materials, the attention to detail, a timeless fashion which sublimates the must haves of the season according to the trends for a young urban and active woman. A wardrobe resolutely in a chic Parisian spirit.

From Emma's modern and elegant aesthetics flow creations mixing sobriety and originality with the desire to offer a wardrobe with subtle materials applying to stick scrupulously to the times.

Perlegging

On edge

Launched in 2013, leggings in stretch lambskin have become a staple of the MAX&MOI collections. Flagship model of the House, the leather leggings that shape the body while adapting to all morphologies are displayed in an ever-renewed color palette of more than twenty shades.

The House partners with expert French skinners to offer models of unique quality.

In order to best meet the requirements of our customers, we have created a "personalization" service allowing everyone to make their leggings according to their desires thanks to its palette of colors.

Our perleggings are designed and manufactured in Paris by a French skinner and have the particularity of being washable on the reverse by hand or machine.
